🎮 Controls

💻 On Desktop:

• In "Chess Board" mode, click a yellow square to make a move.
• In "Battle" mode, use...
  • A/D or Left/Right arrow to move.
  • W or Up arrow to jump.
  • L to attack.

📱 Works on mobile/tablet with touch!

• In "Chess Board" mode, tap a yellow square to make a move.
  
• In "Battle" mode...
  • hold tap on the left/right side of your piece to move.
  • hold tap above your piece to jump.
  • tap to attack.

🎭 Game Jam

Made for Pirate Software Game Jam 16 with the theme "You Are The Weapon."

It took me about a week to make and probably has bugs. Made with Godot.

♟️ What? What?

• "Chess Board" mode:
  • First you make a move.
  • Then your Captain makes a move.
  • Then the Enemy makes a move.
• "Battle" mode:
  • If a piece is attacked/defended and your piece can "see" that piece, then a Battle is started.
    • "See" means that your piece can touch that piece using a normal chess move for your piece.
  • If any King is attacked or attacking, then a Battle also starts. When a King is attacked (the attackee), all of its pieces join the fight, but not all of the attacker's. So be careful before attacking the King!
  • If the attacker wins, then the defender is removed and vice versa.
  • If you win a battle, then your piece gets promoted. Queen is the highest level.
  • If you die, then you become a random piece.
• A King must die... to end the game.
